Rob Mayes MSE/MTD Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Robin J. Mayes is President and Chief Executive Officer at Premier Data Software / SieCorp, responsible for leading Premier Data Software's technology organization. In this role, Mr. Mayes is responsible for the strategic direction and operation of all software and technology product development. Mr. Mayes also serves as the Chief Software Architect. While born in Illinois, Mr. Mayes spent much of his youth abroad during his father's tenure with an international based organization.  His perspective, like Premier Data Software's client base, is global. Mr. Mayes first conceived SieCorp, Premier Data's parent organization, as a technology application systems provider in the late 1970's, incorporating in 1983. He brings vast practical experience from previously owning retail and service businesses in across multiple industries. As a result, Mr. Mayes has a clear perspective on application software from the perspective of a user and developer. His technical background spans from early CP/M systems, through the IBM 370/390 mainframe, the IBM AS/400 (iSeries), and for nearly two decades, covered Windows-based client-server development using various Microsoft technologies. Mr. Mayes has owned and directed businesses for nearly twenty-five years. He is dedicated to lifelong learning and in the early 1990's, he returned to college to earn two Master's degrees from his alma matter, Illinois State University. His Master of Science degree in Industrial Training complements his Master of Science degree in Computer Science. It is his balance of education and experience that really helps Premier Data Software to provide exceptional products. While a graduate student, Mr. Mayes traveled to Russia and China for participation in an educational research project, spending months abroad studying local cultures and educational systems. After graduation, he served as Director of Product Development for four years at a regional technology and consulting firm. From there, Mr. Mayes shifted his focus back to SieCorp, leading to the current business environment. Mr. Mayes has focused the company on three primary industries: self-insured Taft-Hartley fund management,  coin-operated route management and medical practice software applications. Mr. Mayes' extensive business and cultural experience, insight, and candor are a stark contrast to that of most executives, and an asset to Premier Data Software. In addition,  from 1995 to 2005 Mr. Mayes taught Software development classes at the University of Illinois at Springfield.  He has taught over 500 individuals the skill of database programming using IBM's RPG/COBOL and Microsoft's various Visual BASIC languages.  He continues to train and educate his clients' employees in business and technology related areas.  He is also available for organizational and program consulting services. Mr. Mayes is married (1972), has two grown children and resides in Central Illinois, USA.
